A sketch for the proposal.

I just finished my first proposal for generating a piece of art for a show. What struck me most about the process was its similarity to grant-writing in science. There was a section of adjective-laden pomp, some preliminary data, bullet pointed next steps, and a section of credentials. The only difference was in the floweriness of the pomp and the total lack of references!
